Conference location

The conference will be hosted by the Social Center in Patras and all workshops and smaller sessions will take place here. Some larger sessions will take place at the Agora Argyri. These are both located in the city center and just a 1o minutes walk from each other.

Accomodation

We have an agreement with the Hotel Mediterranee. It is located just five to ten minutes walk from the Social Center and Agora Argyri where the conference will be held. The price is 35 euros per night for a single room, and 45 euros per night for a doubleroom. This includes breakfast!

There is also a low standard option reserved primarily for TRISE members, to sleep at the floor at the Social Center and some other locations. If you are a TRISE member or a speaker at the conference and interested in this option, please send us a mail about it or write it in your registration form.

Food arrangements

Lunch and coffebreaks will be arranged near the conference location. Possibly also dinner. We will have an arrangement with a taverna nearby offering food for a decent price. Breakfasts will be arranged where you stay. You will have to pay for the food separately by yourself.

Travel to Patras

If you are flying from abroad, usually the cheapest and most convenient connections is to fly to Athens and then take the bus or the train to Patras. Here is some recommendations on how to reach Patras from Athens International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos”. The duration of this trip is about 3 hours.
